Responsibilities: Summary The Program Manager II provides oversight to GEO Reentry operations specific to Merced County.
Responsibilities include maintaining good customer relations, continuous program development, monitoring adherence to budgets, and ensuring contract compliance.
Reports to the regional Area Manager with close and frequent contact.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Program Manager II maintains ongoing communication with Merced County Probation and other stakeholders to maintain collaboration and enhance service delivery.
Ensures programs in Merced County function in a manner that satisfies contractual obligations.
The Program Manager II develops timely, accurate reports on the status of program operations for Merced County and GEO leadership.
Monitors program systems and procedures to achieve and maintain optimal effectiveness.
The Program Manager II works to continually improve service delivery and program outcomes.
Distributes resources appropriately to achieve key performance indicators across Merced County programs.
The Program Manager II develops staffing plans that are compatible with program budgets and goals.
Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training program staff; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance and providing feedback; addressing complaints and resolving issues.
The Program Manager II engages Community stakeholders to expand participant access to essential needs.
Leads staff training and educational sessions for GEO Merced staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Minimum Requirements Master’s degree and a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree and a minimum six (6) years of relevant experience.
Additional experience may be substituted for educational requirement on a year for year basis.
Working knowledge of substance abuse and/or cognitive behavioral treatment programs.
Ability to handle a variety of complex tasks and communicate effectively.
Ability to work with governmental agency personnel.
Administrative experience and ability to manage program personnel.
Familiar with criminal justice system, court procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
Pay: Pay USD $90,000.
