ROLE
Under close supervision, provides general labor duties to maintain cleanliness of facility and assists Maintenance Department with toter cleaning and repairs, as well as some delivery duties with a class C license.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Cleans facility and makes certain yard is free of debris.
• Mows lawns.
Edges lawns.
Blows and rakes leaves.
Uses Weed Eater or sprays non-landscaped areas.
Prunes shrubs.
• Assists collection crew as needed (e.
g.
, delivering carts, helping customers, assisting with community projects).
• Sweeps parking area.
• Washes, repairs, and stores containers and carts in an orderly fashion; ensures containers and carts are available when needed.
• Keeps supervisor informed of inventory levels when running low on crates and containers.
• Assists in cleanup of off-site hydraulic spills.
Other maintenance duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying.
A typical way to qualify is:
• Knowledge of federal, state and local job site health and safety rules, regulations and best practices; understanding of potential job hazards.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Oral communication skills with ability to understand and follow directions.
• Customer service skills.
• Detail oriented.
