____________________ UNIT MANAGER - PRODUCTION - ATWATER, CA Salary Range = $75,000 to 85,000 (depending on experience) OVERVIEW: The Unit Manager - Production is responsible for handling all activities related to labeling and warehousing including label-line production, and training of employees in the Company.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Manage label-line production.
Implement procedural changes and coordinate special projects, when needed.
Attend daily production meetings.
Communicate with customers about any special needs that they may have or want and keep the client's inventory neat and available.
Plan, organize and control the label-line production and the overall operations of the warehouse.
Forecast the resources and activities in relation to company objectives.
Set and meet/exceed targets.
Implement cost-reduction principles with respect to label-line and warehouse transactions and activities.
Implement and maintain label standards and benchmarks and ensure operations adherence and synchronization / consistency of systems across the country.
Collaborate with the Inventory Control Coordinator.
Generate several reports including IN/OUT status, dead stock, goods age, consumption, and manpower status.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels at the warehouse.
Reconcile monthly inventory balances and resolve variances.
Practice “Good Manufacturing” to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Bachelor's degree.
Eight to ten years' experience in labeling/warehouse management.
Experience using ERP systems.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with HACCP regulations.
Familiarity with Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Exposure to supply chain, warehouse, and labeling.
