Extraction & Laboratory Technician

Job Description: The Extraction and Laboratory Technician (ELT) is responsible for adhering to set industry safety, sanitization, and production standards in order to process raw cannabis material into cannabis extract.
An ELT will also participate in the R&D aspects of the job including preparing and running test samples through the HPLC and product development/improvement.
An ELT is also responsible for accurately tracking and labeling all cannabis material in his or her possession using the traceability system.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Possess and maintain a professional attitude and demeanor Extract cannabis oil from raw cannabis material as efficiently and safely as possible Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure product integrity and quality control Analyze retrieved data and prepare reports for laboratory management Recognize and report any laboratory or product safety issues Assist the Laboratory & Extraction Lead with audits of bulk concentrate inventory
